LIQUID receives the Bavarian Print Media Award 2010 for the Living Book®.
The Living Book® convinced the high-calibre panel of judges in the category "Outstanding technical achievements": "The Living Book® from the LIQUID agency in Augsburg is an outstanding technical achievement. It combines two familiar media – book and audiovisual display – in an innovative manner, giving the user added value. The haptic features of the book, enhanced with moving images, open up a wide variety of information for the user. The product is a prime example of how printed media are developing and opening up to new technology."
Alongside the Bavarian Film Award, the Bavarian Television Award and the International Book Award, the Bavarian Print Media Award is one of four awards from the state of Bavaria for the media sector. It has been awarded jointly every two years since 2000 by the Bavarian government and industry associations.
