Hunting lodge Granitz

A visitor of the exhibition commented: “The travel diary of Wanda zu Putbus is really successful and makes my hopes for a time machine grow…

For the hunting lodge Granitz on the island of Rügen a diary of a special kind was created: the exciting journey of the Princess zu Putbus together with her husband to Egypt in 1861 is narrated – at that time still a real adventure, as the journey itself already meant a journey of several weeks by train and ship.

The large-format, bilingual Living Book® is an essential part of the overall exhibition and tells, among other things, of experiences along the way, a visit to the pyramids, a trip on the Nile and a visit to the harem.

The book captivates the viewer not only with animated maps, a historical photo album and a visualized boat trip, but also with a self-developing pyramid as a pop-up and an enchanting narrator’s voice.

Visitors to the exhibition can skim through the large tome on their own and change the language of The Living Book® between German and English. The entire dramaturgy, all animations, the printed book with refinements and printed linen cover were developed. All content was coordinated in close cooperation with the curators and the client to ensure the accuracy of the content.
